A guide to converting percentage marks to GPA for USA schools.

NOTE: US universities will calculate the GPA from 9th grade onward. Usually it will end up being 9th-11th, because the student will normally be applying in their 12th year. Just as they do for US students, they calculate the cumulative GPA for all of the years of secondary school.
